1. When making fleets, make sure to include 2-3 attackers and 1-2 scouters.

2. Never use Coracle without a revealer.

3. When using Longboat, try to hit more than one ship with its ability.

4. Battle Club exclusive ships are not better than normal ships.

5. Avoid RNG ships, unless they fit your fleet extremely well.

6. Random placement is usually the best placement, seeing as your opponents are likely used to scouting manual placement.

7. Avoid placing ships in corners, as most people sonar there.

8. When using sonar, sonar in the corners, eliminates a lot of guessing compared to if you placed the sonar in the middle.

9. Make sure to think about your move - a lot can be deduced about placement if you pay attention to missed tiles.

10. Battletabs is not a competitive game - you shouldn't always look for easy opponents.

11. Pay attention to the current meta.

12. Chaos Sub is by many considered to be the best sonar option.

13. The best revealers are crustacean, chaos slug, see slug, and slug squad.

14. Put some synergies in your fleet, like Longsub and Valkyrie. They will help your fleet.

15. When using the coracle, try to place it in places where if you sonar in corners, it can't reach the coracle.

16. If you are using the magic mirror or skull cove (which you shouldn't), then you are better off going with a fleet that relies on only 3 ships, like longboat-coracle-chaos slug.

17. ALWAYS have a backup plan in BattleTabs.

18. Try not to have ships that have the same cooldown, as this effectively increases the cooldown of one of them by 1.

19. If you want only one scouter in your fleet, the only ships that really fit this are chaos slug, slug squad, and chaos sub.

20. After you sonar, aim your (most likely kayak) next shot in a place where it can eliminate the most possible choices possible.

21. Try to have at least one precision attacker like longboat, valkyrie, coracle, or galleon in your fleet; they help with taking out weirdly shaped ships.

22. With longboat, try to take out the most important ship or one that has a weird shape first.

23. Never attack with crustacean, unless you can use it to finish off a game, or you need to hit one tile, but can still get great value out of the scouting (other 4 tiles)

24. Experiment with different types of fleets!

25. Quite obvious, but if you're using Coracle, PLEASE pair it up with another attacker, like Longboat or valkyrie. Don't be like the know-nothing noob and do eels crusty turtle coracle.

26. In rare cases, it might be better to not use an ability and use cannon instead.

27. Although it isn't used often, if you ARE using a raft, get the most out of its usage, it probably will only be used once.

28. The easiest type of fleet to learn is cycle, and the hardest is precision.

28. Since they are risky, don't use coracle and kayak together, unless it's for fun..

29. Get move out of your revealers and reveal in all different kinds of places!

30. Never use whale in ANY circumstance, there are much better alternatives.

31. Nessie is actually better than you think.

32. If you want to counter coracle, You can use quick sonar as it can cover a lot of areas and can help find the coracle if you know how to use it. Or use quick revealers like chaos slug. Noobs put coracles in rocks often so look there. Or use cycle, like fleets that arent top-heavy and don't rely on only one or two ships, so that even if coracle gets one of your ships, you arent completely doomed.
